The San Vittore del Lazio waste-to-energy plant is one of two plants run by Acea Ambiente for producing electricity through the combustion of fuel derived from waste.

As currently set up, the site is the largest waste-to-energy plant in Lazio and plays a central role in the management of urban waste, thanks to the technology used for its construction and its significant processing potential. The plant is part of the regional waste disposal plan and is one of the main national strategic facilities for the protection of health and environment.
