The plant is included in the regional waste disposal plan
 

Once the fourth line has been completed, the industrial site will be able to recover energy from up to 447,200 tonnes/year of waste, while ensuring the continuous and simultaneous operation of three co-incineration lines.

At present, with only the three lines currently in operation, the maximum amount of fuel that can be used for energy recovery is 397,200 tonnes/year.

San Vittore Waste-to-Energy Plant is recognized as a strategic facility of national interest for the protection of health and the environment.

 

Its relevance stems from both the cutting-edge technologies used in its construction and the significant waste treatment capacity that makes it a reference point in the sector.
