What is waste disposal and how it works

We are a cutting-edge company in the management of final waste disposal plants for residual waste, such as landfills.

 

Throughout the entire waste management supply chain, we aim to utilize every material to the maximum, in order to minimize the amount of waste destined for landfills.

 

We use recycling and composting processes for material recovery, mechanical-biological treatment and waste-to-energy for energy recovery, to transform waste into resources, in compliance with environmental regulations.

Each managed landfill is a true disposal plant, designed to optimize biogas energy recovery and contain environmental impact through operational and post-operational cycle management, up to the restoration of the affected areas, which are returned to the community with specific reuse projects, actively contributing to sustainability and public health protection.

We work for efficient, safe and sustainable waste management, maximizing recovery and minimizing landfill use, in line with EU objectives.

We aim to limit waste destined for landfills to 10% of total waste produced by 2035.
