We handle plastic recycling, actively contributing to a sustainable path for this material, in line with the principles of the circular economy.
The recycling supply chain, an industrial model specialized in the utilization of post-consumer and pre-consumer plastics
Our recycling supply chain has a clear objective: transform plastic waste from separate collection into quality secondary raw materials, reducing the use of virgin plastic and actively contributing to the ecological transition.
Activities focus exclusively on mechanical recycling, currently the most efficient and sustainable technology for plastic recovery.
Plastic recycling involves a structured process, divided into different steps, whose goal is obtaining and reintroducing Secondary Raw Materials (SRM) into the market.
Our commitment to recycling covers a wide range of plastic materials from separate collection and other supply chains.
The main types we treat include:
PET
Polyethylene terephthalate
This is a plastic commonly used for beverage bottles (transparent, colored, opaque), food trays and other containers. It is selected, ground, washed and transformed into flakes suitable for the production of new manufactured goods or for extrusion into pellets.
HDPE
High-density polyethylene
Robust material, ideal for detergent bottles, containers, fruit and vegetable crates and pipes. After treatment involving shredding, washing and separation, it is regenerated in the form of high-quality granules or ground material.
Film PE
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE)
Used for bags, films and flexible packaging. After a careful selection and cleaning process, the film is transformed into recycled granules, ready for new applications in packaging or industry.
PP
Polypropylene
Commonly found in caps, rigid containers, crates and various components. It is treated to produce recycled material suitable for both extrusion and molding.
PS
Polystyrene
Rigid and lightweight plastic, often used for trays, disposable cups, packaging and insulating parts. After separation and cleaning, PS is recovered to produce new manufactured goods or technical materials.
POMIX
Polyolefin coextrusion
This is a fraction composed of multilayer materials based on polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), mainly derived from rigid packaging. Through dedicated processes, it is transformed into secondary raw materials for industrial applications, contributing to the utilization of complex materials.
Plasmix
Heterogeneous plastic mix
This includes non-separable plastic materials or those composed of multiple different polymers, rigid and flexible. Part of the plasmix is utilized as secondary raw materials, while the remaining portion is destined for alternative applications, such as energy recovery or innovative construction materials.
